Qur’an Teacher:

Recitation (Tilawah): Proficiency in reading the Qur'an with proper Tajweed (rules of pronunciation) is paramount. An Ijaza (certification) from a qualified scholar is a major advantage that will make your application stand out.
Memorization (Hifz): While not always mandatory, memorization of parts or all the Qur'an (being a Hafiz/Hafiza) is highly valued.
Understanding (Tafsir): Knowledge of the meaning and interpretation of the Qur'an is beneficial, especially for teaching students.
Arabic Language Proficiency: A good understanding of the Arabic language, particularly Classical Arabic (the language of the Qur'an), is crucial for accurate recitation and understanding.
Islamic Studies Background: A solid foundation in basic Islamic studies, including Aqidah (creed), Fiqh (jurisprudence), and Seerah (Prophet Muhammad's life), is expected.

Islamic Studies Teacher:

Strong Islamic Knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of Islamic principles, including Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history.
Teaching Certification: A valid teaching certification, preferably with a specialization in religious education or Islamic studies.
Pedagogical Skills: Proven ability to effectively teach Islamic concepts to elementary students, using engaging and age-appropriate methods.
Fluency in Arabic: Strong proficiency in Arabic language, both written and spoken, to facilitate teaching of Quranic recitation and Islamic literature is highly valued.

Arabic Language Teacher:

Native Arabic Speaker: Ideally, a native Arabic speaker with a strong command of the language.
Teaching Certification: A valid teaching certification, preferably with a specialization in language arts or foreign language education.
Pedagogical Skills: Proven ability to teach Arabic language to elementary students, using innovative and interactive techniques.
Cultural Understanding: Knowledge of Arab culture and traditions to enrich the language learning experience.
* Salary will be commensurate according to the experience "Starting at $17K".

Class Teacher:

The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of experience in a classroom and:
1- Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent.
2- Certified or in the process of being certified.
3- Classroom base experience.
4- Compelling oral and written communication skills.
5- The ability to clearly evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback in proper written and verbal English.
* Salary will be commensurate according to the experience "Starting at $42K".
