Job Summary
AIA is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers and help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for students in Grades K–6.
Duties
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities
- Support students with classroom assignments and activities
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
- Assist with classroom preparation and materials
- Support students while following AIA academic and Islamic values
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with elementary-age students

Duties
- Teach Grades K-6 in ELA, Social Studies, Science, and Math
- Follow step-by-step lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
- Provide instruction per established class and grade expectations
- Use multiple teaching methods including critical thinking strategies
- Adhere to AIA academic requirements with emphasis on safety
