Dr. Leheb H. Araim

Dr. Leheb H. Araim is a highly accomplished cardiothoracic surgeon with an extensive background in medicine, leadership, and community service. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, with a minor in Arabic, from Emory University, before completing his Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. He pursued advanced training through residencies in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Louisville, followed by a fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Tennessee.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Araim has held staff cardiothoracic surgeon positions at leading medical centers across California and Tennessee, most recently with Central California Heart & Lung Surgery. He is board-certified in both Thoracic and General Surgery and has authored research presented in nationally recognized forums. His clinical excellence has been recognized through multiple awards, including the Healthgrades Cardiac Surgery Excellence Award, US News & World Report rankings, and Physician of the Year at Kaweah Health Care District.

Dr. Araim is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Cardiology. His career reflects a dedication to advancing medicine, mentoring, and serving communities with compassion and integrity.
