A board-certified neurosurgeon with extensive training and experience in managing complex cranial and spinal conditions.

Education & Training

  • Earned his medical degree from the University of Benghazi, Libya.
  • Completed his neurosurgery residency and neuro-spine fellowship at McMaster University, Ontario, Canada.
  • Pursued an additional fellowship in complex spine and trauma at Sunnybrook Hospital, University of Toronto.
  • Underwent three years of clinical training focusing on:
    • Neurotrauma
    • Open cerebrovascular surgery
    • Skull base surgery

Academic Experience

  • Served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
  • Currently holds the same position at California Health Sciences University.

Clinical Interests

  • Cranial neurotrauma.
  • Spinal conditions, particularly cervical spondylotic myelopathy.
  • Advancing medical education through problem-based learning programs.
