Principal Dr. Jamal Hajsaleh opened the night by speaking directly from the heart about why this school exists and what it means for Muslim families in Fresno to finally have a place where their children don't have to choose between a strong education and a strong faith.

Because those standards can be taught from many angles, we make sure every lesson is delivered in a way that's consistent with Islamic teachings. In human biology, for example, our teachers cover the biological facts while framing the conversation within our worldview, rather than introducing content that conflicts with our values.

We ended the night in gratitude, with reflections on everything accomplished together and a final prayer for our school's future.
